Madhya Pradesh, the state legislative assembly paid rich tributes to the senior Congress leader and former chief minister of the state Arjun Singh today, who had passed away on Friday. As soon as the House assembled, the Speaker Ishwardas Rohani mentioned the death of Arjun Singh and four other persons. Terming Arjun Singh’s demise as an ir-repairable loss to the nation and the state, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, acting leader of the opposition in the state assembly Rakesh Singh Choudhry and 13 other members shared their views and experiences with Arjun Singh. The House observed two minute silence in respect of the departed souls. Then the proceedings of the House were adjourned till tomorrow.
