Mozambique invites Indian SMEs to collaborate with its companies

Mozambique has invited Indian small and medium units to collaborate with its companies aimed to promote the sector's growth. Mozambique Minister of Industry and Commerce Armando Inroga called on Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, MSME, Minister Virbhadra Singh in New Delhi on Wednesday. Mr. Inroga said that there are enormous opportunities in the field of small and medium enterprises for mutual benefits of both the countries. According to an official release, Mr. Singh assured full cooperation for the development of the sector in both the countries. Mr. Inroga also said that National Small Industries Corporation, NSIC, is setting up an incubation centre in Mozambique. The incubation centre would provide an opportunity to first generation entrepreneurs to acquire skill for enterprise building. The MSMEs account for 45 per cent of the country's manufacturing output and 40 per cent of exports.
