Suburban services on the Western Railway line in the metropolis were disrupted during the evening rush hour today after a section of its motormen wenton a flash strike demanding better work conditions. A Western Railway spokesperson told that the services have been disrupted and there is a significant delay in the operations. He said that negotiatins with the striking motormen are on and are hopeful of an early resolution of the issues . Railway sources, however, said the motormen have for long been demanding providing co-motormen to help them in the operations besides addressing several safety-related issues.
