Minister of State for External Affairs V Muraleedharan today stressed the need to reaffirm Global South commitments and find innovative solutions towards mobilising financing for development, reforming the international financial architecture, and facilitating South-South cooperation. He was addressing the Plenary session of the Third South Summit in Uganda. The MoS said in order to achieve these goals, there is a need to rise beyond internal bickering and dragging in bilateral disputes into the G77. He said that the theme of the Summit – &quot;Leaving No One Behind&quot; – is what India has always been committed to. He added that it captures the indian ethos of &quot;Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam"- the World is One Family".<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Mr Muraleedharan further stated that India stands committed to reforming multilateralism, and making the international organisations more representative. He said there is an urgent need for comprehensive reforms of the UN Security Council to address its outdated structure. He said this&nbsp; includes adequately representing the Global South to ensure that diverse global perspectives are included at the highest levels of decision-making.</span><br />
