Minister of State for Law and Justice Prof SP Singh Baghel today held a review meeting on several Central Schemes for infrastructure and also interacted with the Meghalaya State Legal Service in Shillong. The Minister is on a two-day visit to Meghalaya. &nbsp;<br />'' <br />'' Interacting with mediapersons after the meeting, the MoS stated that the purpose of his visit is to take into account proper implementation of centrally sponsored schemes, to visit sites to monitor the actual implementation.<br />'' He further stated that the Union Government has allocated more than 700 crore rupees for the development of infrastructure , especially for the work of the five POCSO Courts.&nbsp;<br />'' <br />'' He expressed satisfaction with the quality of work and the percentage of utilization of the funds. In response to the demand for more funds for the development of infrastructure by the State, the Minister said that his department has allocated an amount of 16 crore rupees recently and he will consider it after going through the utilization status.<br />'' <br />'' The MoS also said that role of participation in sensitizing &nbsp;matters related to juvenile delinquency is important.<br />''<br />''The MoS earlier visited the One-Stop Centre at Ganesh Das Hospital, Juvenile Home at Mawdiangdiang, North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health &amp; Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS).
