Minister of State for Railways Manoj Sinha inaugurated a new private freight terminal at Sachana village near Viramgam in Ahmedabad district of Gujarat yesterday. Speaking on this occasion, Mr. Sinha said that this is the part of attracting private investment in the Railways. He said about 500 more Private Freight Terminals will be built in the country during the next 3 years.<br/><br/>Mr.Sinha said the new Private Freight Terminal at Sachana will boost the economic as well as social development of this region. AIR correspondent reports that the new logistics hub with three dedicated rail sidings is capable of handling both containerized and bulk cargo in all weather. The terminal is also capable of handling 125 to 130 trains a month.
