Minister of State for Law and Justice, P P Chaudhary, met his Uzbek counterpart in Tashkent today to explore areas of cooperation between the two countries, especially the legal and judicial systems.<br/><br/>An official statement said in New Delhi today that Chaudhary had a meeting with Minister of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ruslanbek Davletov. <br/><br/>The two leaders discussed about the ongoing reforms in the legal sphere in Uzbekistan and the recent improvements made in the Indian system of law and justice. <br/><br/>Chaudhary, who is also Minister of State for corporate affairs, is on a three-day visit to Uzbekistan to attend the fifth meeting of the Ministers of Justice of (Shanghai Cooperation Organisation) member states.
