MoS MJ Akbar expresses satisfaction at outcome of 2nd round of India-UAE Strategic Dialogue in Abu

Minister of State for External Affairs MJ Akbar today expressed satisfaction at the outcome of the second round of India-UAE Strategic Dialogue in Abu Dhabi. He said it is a 'very important element in the architecture of India's growing relationship with United Arab Emirates'. In a statement issued by the Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi, Mr Akbar said that the discussions enabled India to review and re-energise the elements of the comprehensive dialogue and helps in converting a wish list into outcomes.<br/>'<br/>Mr MJ Akbar today held meeting with Dr. Anwar Bin Mohammed Gargash, Cabinet Minister and Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of United Arab Emirates and discussed defence security, terrorism, investment and other matters of mutual interest. During the course of the meeting, Dr Anwar Gargash also appreciated the contribution of Indian community towards the progress and prosperity of UAE.<br/>'<br/><br/>UAE has also welcomed India's participation as Guest of Honour at the World Government Summit to be held in February, 2018 in Dubai. Both the sides agreed to hold the 3rd round of Strategic Dialogue in New Delhi on mutually convenient dates.<br/>
