Minister of State for Ports, Shipping and Waterways Mansukh Mandaviya has said that the Chabahar Port has emerged as the 'connecting point' for the region to deliver humanitarian assistance during the COVID pandemic. <br />''<br />''Delivering his keynote address on 'Chabahar Day' in the Maritime India Summit today, Mr. Madaviya said, Chabahar Port is facilitating trade between Central Asian countries and Afghanistan with the countries of South and Southeast Asia and the Far East. <br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">He said, India used the Port to ship wheat to Afghanistan even during the tough times of COVID-19. He added that India has already proposed the inclusion of Chabahar Port in the International North-South Transport Corridor, INSTC route. <br />''<br />''The Shipping & Ports Minister welcomed the interest shown by Uzbekistan and Afghanistan to join the INSTC.</span><br />
