Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Krishan Pal Gurjar today inaugurated Post Office Passport Seva Kendra at Head Post Office, Faridabad in Haryana. <br/><br/>Secretary Consular, Passport and Visa and Overseas Indian Affairs Dnyaneshwar M. Mulay, Chief Post Master General of Haryana Circle Col. Sukhdev Raj, Post Master Genral of Gurgaon Kalpana Rajsinghot and Regional Passport Officer of Delhi Hitesh J. Rajpal were present on the occasion. <br/><br/>Regional Passport Office in Delhi is currently catering to residents of Delhi and nine districts of Haryana, including Faridabad. This Post Office Passport Seva Kendra will particularly be useful for citizens in and around Faridabad. Earlier, citizens of Faridabad had to visit either Passport Seva Kendra in Gurgaon or Delhi. <br/><br/>With the inauguration of the Post Office Passport Seva Kendra in Faridabad, citizens will have the convenience to submit their passport applications in Faridabad itself. It is an attempt to provide passport services at the door-steps of common man. To begin with, 30 passport applications per day will be accepted at Post Office Passport Seva Kendra Faridabad.
