MoS Home Hans Raj Ahir accompanied by DG CRPF R R Bhatnagar this evening visited the two Yatris presently admitted in Sher e Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) Srinagar who were injured in yesterday's Anantnag attack.<br/><br/>Army Chief General Bipin Rawat today arrived in Srinagar to review the security situation in the wake of the attack on Amarnath pilgrims. <br/><br/>The Army chief will be briefed by top Army officials in the Valley about the overall security situation in Kashmir, especially in the wake of the last night attack in Anantnag. <br/><br/>The Army chief will be interacting with the Director General of Police and likely to hold a meeting with DG CRPF. More details are awaited.<br/><br/>Governor N.N. Vohra, who is also Chairman of the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board (SASB), in an emergency Yatra Security Review Meeting today directed the heads of all the Security Forces to most critically review and ensure strict enforcement of extant Yatra Security arrangements and see no let up that there was no let up whatsoever. <br/><br/>He also advised the Security Forces Chiefs to maintain heightened surveillance and close co-ordination during the remaining period of the Yatra. The meeting was attended by the senior most Civil, Police, Central Armed Forces Police, Army, State and Central Intelligence Agencies. <br/><br/>The Kashmir Traders and Manufacturers Federation (KTMF) has condemned the attack on Amaranth pilgrims in south Kashmir. In a statement it said while the Kashmir is a land of communal harmony, however, in this hour of grief the entire Kashmir is with the families of those bereaved.
