Union Minister of State for Home G. Kishan Reddy has completed a two-day visit to Leh Ladakh.<br />'' <br />'' Speaking to the media in Leh today, Mr Reddy said that soon after the Leh Hill Council elections, the Centre will make an Act to protect employment, land, culture and language of Ladakh region.<br />'' <br />'' While attacking the Congress, National Conference and Jammu and Kashmir Peoples' Democratic Party, the Minister said, these political parties are towing the line of China and Pakistan against the national interest and the people of Ladakh on abrogation of Article 370 and Article 35A.<br />'' <br />'' He reiterated that the creation of Union Territory of Ladakh is purely a step to provide overall development in the fields of infrastructure, education, health and tourism to the region.<br />'' <br />'' Minister said, ZojiLa Tunnel is an assurance by the Modi Government to Ladakh.<br />'' <br />'' Referring to the demand of public for electrification of villages in Ladakh, Mr. Reddy said that the Centre has drawn a 7,500 MW Solar Power strategy to provide 24-hour power supply to all the corners of Ladakh to cater the needs of domestic, agriculture and small industries.<br />'' <br />'' He also said, in the next budget, the Leh and Kargil towns will be taken under the Smart Cities programme for overall development of the District Headquarters.<br />'' <br />'' The Minister appealed to the public for support in Leh Hill Development elections for better development and continuous support by the Centre to Ladakh.<br />'' <br />'' <br />
