Minister of State for Health Anupriya Patel today reviewed the activities of National Centre for Disease Control,NCDC and issued necessary directions for disease surveillance, monitoring of health status and enforcing public health regulations. <br/><br/>In her address at NCDC in New Delhi, Mrs Patel said, the National Health Policy 2017 envisages for greater role of preventive and promotive aspects than curative and NCDC can play a pivotal role in this aspect. She said, the government has allocated 382 crore rupees for up-gradation of NCDC campus.<br/><br/>According to an official release, Mr Patel also visited the Strategic Health Operations Centre and reviewed the Seasonal Influenza (H1N1) status through video conferencing with the States of Rajasthan, Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh.<br/>
