Minister of State for Law and Justice, PP Chaudhary has termed the practice of triple talaq as unconstitutional. He was reacting to a query that recently over one million Muslims from across India with women in majority, have signed a petition to end the practice of triple talaq. Talking to media outside Parliament, Mr Chaudhary said the practice is against gender equality.<br/><br/>On a query regarding protest over Jat reservation, the Minister said he is of the opinion that backward people should get reservation. The proposed Jat agitation in Delhi today was called off after a meeting between Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal and Jat leaders.
