<span style="color: #222222;">Over 40 Indian origin students from eight countries met Minister of State for Home Kiren Rijiju in New Delhi today as part of the Know India Programme.</span><br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Speaking to media persons, Mr Rijiju said, the Indian diaspora plays a very crucial and supportive role in the country's economic growth. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said, they are also an important component of India's projection as a global power. <br />''</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Our correspondent reports, Know India Programme provides an opportunity to the diaspora to get motivated and inspired by transformational changes taking place in India.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">It also gives them exposure to various aspects of contemporary India's art, heritage and culture. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The 25-day orientation programme is being organised by the External Affairs Ministry in partnership with government of Andhra Pradesh.</span><br />
