In the Kashmir Valley, Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Nityanad Rai visited district Ganderbal in central Kashmir on Friday. He laid the foundation stone and also inaugurated various projects worth several crores at Manasbal Park during an event organised to celebrate the development achievements in the district. During his visit to the Manasbal Park, the Union Minister inspected several stalls installed by various departments and also inspected the ongoing mega job fair organized by the Employment and Counseling Centre Ganderbal as a significant effort to create employment opportunities under the umbrella of &quot;Berozgar Mukt Ganderbal,&quot; initiative.<br />''<br />''On the occasion, Nityanad Rai laid the foundation stone of several projects to the tune of 5.39 crore rupees and also inaugurated various other vital projects costing an amount of 13.76 crore rupees.<br />''<br />''The Minister also presented a cheque amounting to 16,89,000 rupees to the fishermen of Ganderbal as Livelihood and Nutritional support under PMMSY.<br />''<br />''The Minister said efforts have been started to re-establish Kashmir as paradise under the guideline of Prime Minister Narender Modi, who is always committed to ensuring tourism development in the UT and in this regard Government is ensuring all support to facilitate safety and state-of-the-art facilities to the tourists. He said to ensure more employment avenues in the UT, the Government has launched several schemes in Agriculture and allied sectors due to which productivity of agriculture and horticulture has increased which led to the income of farmers being increased.<br />''<br />''Mr Nityanad Rai also commended the district administration for facilitating the local youth to start self-employment ventures and making over 50 per cent Panchayats Nasha Mukt. He also appreciated the district administration for organizing the Mega Job fair in which over 7800 local youth participated.<br />
