Minister of State for External Affairs M J Akbar will be visiting Tunisia from 26-28 of this month. During his visit, Mr Akbar will meet with President of Tunisia Beji Caid Essebsi, Foreign Minister Khemaies Jhinaoui, and other Ministers. <br/><br/>He will discuss a wide range of bilateral, regional and international issues of common interest including strengthening cooperation in the fertilizer sector. The economic cooperation between the two countries is deepening with Indian investments in the fertilizer sector. <br/><br/>The visit takes place in the context of further strengthening the bilateral relationship between India and Tunisia.<br/><br/>The Minister will also interact with the business community to identify potential areas of trade and investment. He will also deliver a address on India's foreign policy to be organised by the Tunisian Institute of Strategic Studies.
