<span style="color: #222222;">Minister of State for Defence, Subhash Bhamre has reviewed the operational preparedness, infrastructure development and coastal security mechanism of the Coast Guard.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">During his visit to the Western region headquarters of the Coast Guard in Mumbai yesterday, Dr Bhamre was briefed about the mechanisms used to tackle maritime emergencies such as marine oil pollution, grounding of ships, cyclones.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Measures taken by the Coast Guard to safeguard the interests of the fishing community were also discussed.</span>
