Minister of State for Commerce and Industry E M S Natchiappan today urged foreign investors to invest in India, especially in the cement industry. Inaugurating an international seminar on cement and building materials in New Delhi, Mr Natchiappan said there is a growing demand for cement in both rural and urban areas as people prefer concrete houses. Mr Natchiappan called for using new technologies in cement processing and building materials to reduce pollution to minimise damage to environment.
