MoS for Ayush expresses concern over poor health care facilities in Tripura

<br/>Union Minister of State for Ayush Shripad Yesso Naik has expressed concern over the poor health care facilities available in Tripura. Addressing a press conference at BJP Party office in Agartala today, he said that there are total eight districts in Tripura but the state government has not proposed to the Centre for a single hospital for any district till date. <br/><br/>He also said that the central government gives 14,000 crores to Tripura every year but we don't know where this money goes. He also claimed that the state government wrongly blames Central government for not providing anything. He urged the state government to demand for hospitals which come under Ayush Mission and also gave assurance to approve the proposal on priority basis. <br/><br/>He added that in 2015-16 an amount of Rs. 4.72 crores was released to the state Government but since they have not submitted the utilization certificate of that fund spent, for which we are not able to release the next installment of Rs. 6 crores for the year 2016-17.<br/><br/>Mr. Naik is on a two-day visit to Tripura. During his visit yesterday, he went to Kailashahar to visit the Ayush Hospital there. Later, he went to Dharamnagar. Today, he visited state Ayurvedic hospital in Agartala. <br/><br/><br/>
