Minister of State for Finance Namo Narain Meena today introduced the Interim General Budget for 2014-15 in the Rajya Sabha. He also introduced the Appropriation (Vote on Account) Bill, 2014 to provide for the withdrawal of certain sums from the Consolidated Fund for the services of a part of the financial year 2014-15. The Minister also introduced the Finance Bill 2014 just before the House was adjourned for lunch break. These bills have already been passed by the Lok Sabha.
