Union Minister of State for Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Dr L Murugan on the second day of his visit to Meghalaya inspected the Dairy Establishment at Mawiong, Shillong and interacted with State Government officials with the works taken up in the establishment.<br />''<br />''The MoS also interacted with dairy farmers and discussed about the activities that are being carried out by the State and schemes that are available from the Union Government. He also appreciated the efforts that are being carried for the development of dairy activities in the State. <br />''<br />''He also acknowledged the huge potential for dairy and animal husbandry in the State, and said that the farmers can make a good income if they make good use of the potential.<br />''<br />''Later in the evening, the MoS interacted with officials of the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting at All India Radio, Shillong and took stock of the activities and functioning of all the Departments of the I&B Ministry.<br />
