MoS Dr. Bharati Pravin Pawar says India is ready to face any challenge being posed by BF7

Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Dr.Bharati Pravin Pawar has that India is ready to face any challenge being posed by BF7, a new variant of the COVID-19 virus which spread rapidly in Japan, China and some other countries.  She made this remark in the media meeting after having watched the Prime Minister's 96th edition of Mann Ki Baat along with the public in a private hotel at Puducherry.  She said, PM has recently conducted a monitoring meeting and he keeps on vigil about developments.  There were only four infections with the BF7 variant to date. He said, the massive vaccine drive will still continue in the country and there is a strong and extended health infrastructure across the country which would help to face any health emergency at any time. The proven approach of Test, Track and Treatment along with COVID-appropriate behaviour would be enough and be followed, Minister elaborated.<br />''<br />''<br />
