MoS Defence supports army on AFSPA in J&K

Minister of state for Defense Mr. M M Pallam Raju has supported the Armed forces stand on AFSPA in Jammu and Kashmir. Speaking on the sidelines of a seminar on Defence communication in New Delhi he said that the army has played a significant role in stabilizing the situation in valley inherited by the civilian regime, hence it has all the right to express their view as a force on ground in a democracy. Reacting to the recent Wikileak cable from US Embassy Raju said that Indian army is capable and competent enough to tackle any sudden foreign attack. He added that critics should perceive the ability of the Indian army in seizing the terror activities in the state.
