Union Minister of State for Defence Dr Subhash Bhamre visited four establishments of Defence Research & Development Organization(DRDO) in Bengaluru today. <br/><br/>The Minister visited the DRDO labs including Gas Turbine Research Establishment (GTRE), Electronic & Radar Development Establishment (LRDE), Centre of Artificial Intelligence & Robotics (CAIR) and Defence Avionics Research Establishment (DARE). <br/><br/>Dr C P Ramanarayanan, Director General (Aeronautical system) and Ms J Manjula, Director General (Electronics & Communication system) were present during the visit and briefed the Minister about their projects in their respective establishments. <br/><br/>He was shown the engine run and other demos of radars, robots and other artificial intelligence products and avionics development related products. The Minister appreciated the achievements and project developments by the labs. <br/><br/>Expressing happiness over the percentage of indigenization by the DRDO labs, Dr Bhamre reiterated the necessity of making it 100 per cent thereby fulfilling the dream of 'Make in India' concept.'<br/><br/>
