<span style="color: #222222;">Union Minister of State, Textile & Railway, Darshana Vikram Jardosh today visited District Kulgam in south Kashmir, as part of the ongoing public outreach programme of the Union Government.<br />'' <br />'' During her visit, the Minister took part in several events and activities that witnessed participation of public officials and delegations.<br />'' <br />'' She also inaugurated developmental projects and interacted with multiple public delegations, members of Panchayat Raj Institutions, SHG members, tribal delegations youth Clubs and entrepreneurs.<br />'' <br />'' The Minister during visit to Employment and Counselling centre, distributed Vehicles among beneficiaries under MUMKIN scheme.<br />'' <br />'' At Mini-stadium Kulgam, she inaugurated inter- zone district level competition for girls in Badminton, Table tennis, Tug of war & Rope Skipping.<br />'' <br />'' The Minister applauded the young and energetic players for their enthusiastic participation in sports.<br />'' <br />'' While speaking on the occasion, she highlighted the measures and initiatives taken by the Union Government to promote sports culture across the country.<br />'' <br />'' The Minister also interacted with members of Self Help Groups and entrepreneurs who shared their successes stories with the Minister.<br />'' <br />'' She stressed upon these members to give extensive Marketing reach of their products by registering on GeM portal and other bussiness sites.<br />'' <br />'' The Minister also met several public delegations including members of tribal community, members of Youth club, Gujjar Bakerwal delegations and other delegations who projected their demands.<br />'' <br />'' Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that the purpose of the visit is to assess the needs and requirements of the people.<br />'' <br />'' She added that Prime Minister is focused to make Jammu Kashmir prosperous and devloped place and has taken several measures and initiatives for welfare of people.<br />'' <br />'' The Minister also presided over a cultural programme at Aherbal and planted an ornamental tree Loro-Petalum and Chinar sapling.<br />'' <br />'' She also inaugurated Government T-20 hotel cum restaurant for Tourists.</span>
