The government today said five lakh 75 thousand 856 applications have been received for National Defence Academy, NDA, examination -II in 2021. In a written reply in Rajya Sabha, the Minister of State for Defence Ajay Bhatt said this includes one lakh 77 thousand 654 applications from female candidates. He said there was no restriction on the number of female applications that could apply for the 2021 National Defence Academy Examination. Mr Bhatt said necessary infrastructure and facilities for training female candidates are in place. He said physical standards will be finalized before the commencement of training for female candidates.<br />''
