The mortal remains of renowned strategic expert K Subrahmanyam were cremated in New Delhi today. A host of dignitaries, including Defence Minister A K Antony, AICC General Secretary Rahul Gandhi, several former and serving diplomats, top officials of the services, strategic experts and top government officialsand were present at the crematorium. Subrahmanyam pased away in New Delhi yesterday.Described as the doyen of the strategic affairs commuity in India, Subrahmanyam was considered one of the key architects of India's security policy doctrine, including the nuclear policy.
