Mortal remains of Shaheed Shankar Shinde, Sahadev brought to Belgam

Mortal remains of Shaheed Shankar Shinde and Sahadev More who died while fighting with Terrorists in Kupwara sector of Jammu and Kashmir were brought today afternoon to Belgam from Shrinagar by special aircraft. From Belgam, body of Shaheed More was taken to Bijapur from where it will be taken to Sawalsang his native village where last rights will be performed tomorrow. <br/><br/>Body of Shaheed Shinde was flown to Ozer Airport near Nashik by same Aircraft, from where it was taken to Devlali Camp and Guard Of Honour was given at Artilary Center. His Body will be kept at Devlali today and will be taken to his native village Bhayale in Chandwad block tomorrow for last rights.<br/><br/>Body of Shaheed Sunil Suryawanshi who was among the soldiers buried under the tonnes of snow after a massive avalanche hit their post at the world's highest battlefield of Siachen on Wednesday is now expected to be flown in to Pune from Leh tomorrow. From hear it will be taken to his native place Mhaskarwadi in Karad block where last rights will be performed with full military honour.<br/><br/>This is for the second time in the last four months that Satara district has made the country proud after another son of soil died in the line of duty. On November 17, Colonel Santosh Mahadik, a highly decorated para-commando of Satara, who was commanding officer of the 41 Rashtriya Riffles, died fighting militants in Kupwara district of north Kashmir.
