The mortal remains of Siachen brave heart Lance Naik Hanumanthappa is kept in Nehru Stadium in Hubli for the public to pay their last respects. Thousands have gathered to express their respects. 'Hanumanthappa ki jai' ranted the air and national flag fluttered around the stadium. <br/><br/>The mortal remains will be taken in an open vehicle to Bettadur, the soldier's native village; after 11.00 am in a procession where funeral will be held according the Lingayat tradition. Chief Minister and other dignitaries from Central and State government will be taking part in the funeral to be held in the afternoon.
