In UP, the mortal remains of noted Shia religious leader and Imam-e-Juma of Varanasi Maulana Syed Ahmad Hasan were buried this afternoon at Bara Imambara in Varanasi. He died on Friday after a prolonged illness. He was 65. He was an eminent scholar, poet and litterateur.
