Mortal remains of BSF head constable Sushil Kumar was consigned to flames with full state honours today at his native town in Pehowa in Kurukshetra district in Haryana.<br/><br/> Sushil Kumar was martyred yesterday during heavy shelling by Pakistani rangers in R S Pura sector at Jammu border. <br/><br/>People at Pehowa staged protest and raised slogans against Pakistan, when the mortal remains of the martyr were brought to his hometown. <br/><br/>Chief Parliamentary Secretary Jaswinder Sandhu , BSF officers, other dignitaries and civil administration joined the last rites of the martyr.<br/><br/> Haryana Minister of State Mr Krishan Bedi has announced 50 lakh rupees compensation for the family of the martyr.
