More than one lakh 68 thousand candidates have been recruited for various group C posts by the Indian Railways during the last five years. This was stated by Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw in a written reply in the Rajya Sabha today. He said, more than one lakh 27 thousand candidates were recruited in the financial year 2019-20 while a total of five thousand 558 candidates were recruited in the last financial year.
