In Uttar Pradesh, more than 70 percent votes were cast for 4th and last phase of three-tier Panchayat elections. Polling was by and large peaceful barring few incidents of group clash, stone pelting and putting water in ballot boxes.Polling was held in 186 development blocks spread over 70 districts. Counting of votes for all four posts will be held on same day in two phases on 28th and 30th of October.
