<span style="color: #222222;">J&K government, under its initiative of bringing back stranded people of the Union Territory in the wake of COVID-19 Lockdown, has evacuated more than 44 thousand residents from across the country and abroad by road. 3 Special Shramik Trains, 1 Jammu Rajdhani Express and 3 Vande Bharat Flights have come to the union territory till date. <br />''<br />''AIR Corroespondent reports that 39, 825 stranded residents of the UT have been evacuated through Lakhanpur via road and about 3, 300 stranded people have reached Udhampur through three special Shramik trains and about 1 thousand stranded people have reached Jammu Railway Station through 1 Rajdhani Express from Karnataka, Goa, Madgoan and New Delhi respectively till today. Also under Vande Bharat Mission, 419 persons reached Srinagar from Dhaka in three special flights since May 8. A 24X7 Covid-19 Helpline number 0191-2466988 has been activated to assist the returnees and address their concerns.</span><br />
