Centre has said more than three thousand Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana Kendras (PMBJP) are functional in the country and making quality generic medicines available at affordable prices for the common man. <br/><br/>In a written reply to a question in the Rajya Sabha yesterday, Minister of State for Chemicals and Fertilizers, Mansukh L Mandaviya said, as on 22nd of this month, three thousand 28 PMBJP Kendras are functional in 33 States and Union Territories. <br/><br/>He also said that government has fixed ceiling prices of 851 medicines, which helped consumers to save more than eleven thousand crores rupees.<br/><br/>
