The Finance Ministry has said that more than 29 lakh 80 thousand major Tax Audit Reports have been filed on the e-Filing portal of the Income Tax Department. On the last day, yesterday over four lakh Tax Audit Reports and forms have been filed.

The Ministry said, out of six crore 26 lakh Income Tax Returns filed for the current financial year, more than five crore 41 lakh have been verified. Of the verified ITRs, more than four crore 50 lakh ITRs have been processed and one crore 58 lakh refunds have been issued.
