In Iran, more than 20 people have been killed and over 100 others have been wounded after two explosions hit the southeastern Iranian city of Zahedan in Sistan-Baluchestan Province last night.The head of Sistan-Baluchestan's emergency unit Fariborz Rashedi told Iranian news agency IRNA that two explosions in the front of Zahedan's Grand Mosque have left more than 20 killed and over 100 injured. The first explosion occurred in front of the gate of city's Grand Mosque followed by a second blast within minutes when people gathered to help the victims of first blast.A police official Jalal Sayyah said that wounded were taken to health centers in Zahedan by emergency forces for treatment. He added that an investigation into the incident is underway. According to Fars news agency, Iran’s Deputy Interior Minister Ali Abdollahi described the incident as a terrorist act.Al-Arabiya television station has reported that it has received an e-mail from Jundullah, saying the group had carried out the attacks in response to the execution of its former leader Rigi who was hanged in Iran recently.
