Health Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya has said that more than 20 crore Ayushman Cards have been issued to the beneficiaries under Ayushman Bharat – Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) so far. The scheme is being implemented to provide health cover to the people. In a tweet, Dr. Mandaviya said, the scheme is providing health protection of up to five lakh rupees per family per year. The scheme was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in September 2018.
