More than 18 lakh new employees have been added under the Employees' State Insurance (ESI) Scheme in December last year. The provisional payroll data for December 2022 was released today. Labour and Employment Ministry said, of the total, the number of employees aged up to 25 years is eight lakh 30 thousand.
