In Gujarat, more security forces have been deployed at the famous Somnath Temple near Veraval on the Arabian coast. Quoting official sources, AIR Ahmedabad correspondent reports that 200-armed jawans of State Reserve Police Force have been deployed at the Somnath Temple site following reports that the ancient Lord Shiva Temple is on a target of terrorist. The security has been beefed up after the State Home Secretary Mr.Balawant Singh visits the Temple early this month. Metal detectors and sniffer dog squade also deployed on the temple site and tourist have been allowed inside the temple only after complete security check.
