More former ministers come under scanner of Special Investigation Bureau in UP

In Uttar Pradesh, seven more former ministers of Mayawati regime have come under scanner of the investigating agency Special Investigation Bureau in connection of LACCFED ( Labour and Construction Cooperative Federation) scam. One former minister of Mayawati government and now in BJP fold, Badshah Sigh has already been arrested and sent to jail in this connection as he was charged of taking a bribe of rupees five crore to allot the work to LACCFED. Quoting police sources, AIR Lucknow correspondent reports that one of the key accused Praveen Singh has made allegations that he had paid commission and cuts to the ex-ministers of Mayawati government in order to get work orders from their departments. All these ex-ministers will be interrogated one by one from 10th of this month onwards. Meanwhile, investigating agency has also took one Superintending Engineer Ajay Kumar Dohray on custody remand who has allegedly confessed many misappropriation of funds. He has named Babu Singh Kushwaha, a powerful minister presently in jail, who was expelled from Cabinet and party by Mayawati in 2011. The Cooperative Minster Shivpal Singh Yadav has ordered the suspension of Superintending Engineer Mr Dohray.
