The Palestinian foreign affairs minister, Mr. Reyadh al-Maliki on Thursday said more countries will recognize the Palestinian state in the Israeli-occupied territories next month. He said the push to recognize the Palestinian state is still maintaining its big momentum and they will gain more recognition in every field next month. The Palestinians want their state to be in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank and East Jerusalem, which Israel has occupied in 1967. They also rely on the recognition as they plan to request a Palestinian state's vote at the United Nations in September.
