Opposition protestors in Syria have held more anti government demonstrations across the country after Friday prayers. Activists say security forces opened fire in the north east and several other towns. Syrian television has shown skirmishes in a Damascus district as security personnel tried to disperse several hundred protestors. It is unclear as yet that there have been any casualties. The violence does not appear to be on the same scale as last Friday.
