Planning Commission Deputy Chairman, Montek Singh Ahluwalia has said inflation has entered the worrying area but he expressed hope that the soaring prices will come down in the next two months. Speaking on the sidelines of a function in New Delhi on Wednesday, he said inflation was a concern and needed to be brought down, but dismissed concerns of a prolonged period of double-digit inflation. A meeting of the full Planning Commission, headed by Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, is slated to consider the mid-term review of the 11th Plan on Saturday.
