Rohan Bopanna and his team-mate from Pakistan, Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi today progressed into the pre-quarterfinals of the Monte Carlo Masters Tennis tournament at Monaco. In the opening round, the Indo-Pak pair defeated the Austrian-Canadian team of Julian Knowle and Vasek Pospisil in straight sets, 7-6, 6-4. For a place in the quarterfinals, Bopanna and Qureshi will take on the Polish-Swedish combination of Lukasz Kubot and Robert Lindstedt, later in the tournament.
