The southwest monsoon has been vigorous over Rajasthan and Gujarat and is active over Gangetic West Bengal. The MeT department has predicted that heavy to very heavy rainfall would occur at a few places with isolated extremely heavy falls over Gangetic West Bengal. Heavy to very heavy rainfall would occur at isolated places over West Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Sub 'Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Odisha, Gujarat, Konkan and Goa. It said, heavy rainfall would occur at isolated places over Himachal Pradesh, Uttrakhand, East Rajasthan, West Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Saurashtra and Kutch tomorrow. <br/><br/>The Weatherman said, squally wind speed reaching 50 to '60 kilometers per hour gusting to 70 kilometers would prevail along and off West Bengal and north Odisha Coasts. It said, sea conditions would be very rough over north Bay of Bengal and has advised fishermen not to venture into the sea along and off West Bengal and north Odisha coasts.
