The monsoon is progressing rapidly and is likely to arrive over Delhi and its neighbourhood a week in advance. Mr.D.P.Yadav , The Director of India Meteorological Department said that the monsoon will hit the National capital by June 18.
The Department has said that there might be excessive rain in the country. Pre-monsoon light to moderate showers are expected over Delhi and other parts of North West India in the next three days.
