India Meteorological Department – IMD on Monday said monsoon will gain pace in the next 2 to 3 days as the conditions are likely to become favourable from today.
Talking to AIR, the IMD Director R.C Vasishtha said that northern parts of the country including Delhi and adjoining areas may receive light rains in the next 24 hours.
AIR Correspondent reports that monsoon missed the date of 29th in the national capital of June as wind conditions over Uttar Pradesh have delayed monsoon advancement.
