India Meteorological Department (IMD) today said the monsoon will be normal this year. Earlier it has predicted more than normal rainfall for the four month period of monsoon from June to September.<br/><br/>In reply to a question about the condition of monsoon, the Director General of IMD, K G Ramesh told reporters in New Delhi that good rainfall is taking place in Central India including Odisha, Madhya Pradesh and Chhatisgarh over las 4 to 5 days. He said, the same region is also expected to receive good rainfall from Wednesday onwards.
